The rationale is enormous for starting our wellness organization in Louisiana. One need only turn to medical reports and dogma emerging from journals, internet websites, magazine articles and daily news reports. When faced with serious realities from such findings many of which paint a dismal picture in health of people and how to address and turnaround some of these grave health conditions, it is our belief that it starts at home as in communities and extending to several communities until the entire state of Louisiana has caught the vision of health and wellness. This is the vision of the Louisiana Wellness Association.

The goal of our organization is to reach Louisiana residents with education on wellness and wellness resources and to serve as a catalyst to bring about collaboration among specific sectors including political, economic, medical, community and social sectors to plan and implement strategies for the advancement of health and wellbeing.

Louisiana Wellness Association has modeled Its program from the Houston Wellness Association In Houston, Texas. The organization is a leader in advancing wellness in the city and in the surrounding communities. We have become a member of Houston Wellness Association in efforts to partner and Collaborate with innovation corporations promoting wellness for its constituents.
